LTD Pro users are getting left behind
UPDF started out great but it seems like they're leaving the "specialised" tools out of their pro plan and creating other tiers/plans for these "specialised" tools to get us to "upgrade".
It seems like the pro plan will not be enhanced with new features and will just continue to have only the "basic" legacy features while the company moves forward with more subscription plans/features.

Jun 13, 2025Hello, I think there are some misunderstanding. Could you explain a little bit more about what features are getting you to "upgrade"? In this lifetime deal, all PDF tools are included. We do not ask for another upgrade if you're using PDF tools such as editing, annotating, converting and so on. However, the AI Assistant is not available which is clearly stated in the Appsumo listing description...

This is one of the best tools on Appsumo
I liked it very much.
Multi device sync across platforms is awersome.
Bulk editing tried on 130+ pdf files by watermarking them with our brand name, it tool less than a minute to create it. Awesome.
Same tried for adding header footer in multiple files. Happened in less than a minute.
I hope this tool gets better and better and will be very useful down the line also.
p.s. I generally dont give five stars to any tools. But if there were 6 star option, i would have given this tool even 6 stars.

I rarely leave reviews (only one) since joining Appsumo but felt guilty not leaving one for UPDF which is one of the greatest purchases we've made. We use it every single day to view and edit PDFs. Dropped our adobe asap and never looked back. Only issue is that you have to get used to their interface, which I dont think is intuitive. The single vs multipage options are separated when you'd think they'd show options by task. Once you get used to it, it's seamless.
we've edited text, images, done markups etc. on any PDF. we've converted files, compressed, etc. The compressions are essential since PDFs are often too big when they have images.
Highly recommend.
